LabFlex (Laboratory manufactured) molded earplugs are not new. What is new, is that Plug-A-Lug Hearing Protection has been appointed Fraser Coast regional provider for Earmold Australia Pty. Ltd.® products. This means faster turnaround times for laboratory manufactured earplugs, at much cheaper prices for you!
Because of their their tiny size, Canal Tip Earplugs are the preferred choice for:
- under-helmet use (motorcycling, power sports etc.)
- sleeping
- travel
- swimming
- sports training
Plug-A-Lug staff have been trained to recommend the most suitable LabFlex earplug for you.
The LabFlex range made from the finest Biopor® heat cured soft silicone, is our most robust product. Biopor® is available in different densities:
- 40 shore* – General use. Great comfort and high strength material.
- 70 shore* – Super strong material. Suitable for earplugs fitted with removable modules and speakers.
* Higher shore values indicate higher material rigidity
Plug-A-Lug staff will advise you and assist in choosing your earplug style, colour combination and the most suitable silicon density. We will then send your ear impressions and order form to Earmold Australia. You will normally receive your new LabFlex earplugs about 3 weeks later.
The Biopor® soft silicone in a Canal Tip earplug has a SNR25 rating with 34.8db of protection at 4000hz giving you maximum hearing protection when needed. We can also customise your new LabFlex Canal Tips with filters to allow lesser levels of sound penetration if required.
